Who we are
Travel Wiz is operated by Rippar Engagement Pty Ltd (ABN 60 703 329 515). Travel Wiz is an Australian travel companion app for caravanners and campers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it.

What we collect
- Your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider) when you join.
- Email verification status and the date your account was created.
- Your free-trial start and expiry dates, and your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy (including versions and timestamp).
- Travel searches you run, destinations you choose, and routes you plan, so we can show you results and let you reopen saved plans.
- Saved plans and favourites you choose to keep. Saved plans and favourites are currently stored on your device, including when you are signed in.
- Your separate optional marketing preference and booking-link click records, including the offer, program, placement and click time.
- Basic usage information (such as which features are used) to operate, secure and improve the service.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and verify your email.
- To run your searches, plan routes and show booking and savings options.
- To manage your trial and membership.
- To keep the service reliable, prevent misuse and improve Travel Wiz.
Marketing emails are optional and only sent if you separately opt in. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
- Our cloud hosting and authentication provider, which stores account and app data on our behalf.
- Spine (our membership platform), when membership services are connected, to manage sign-in, membership and entitlements.
- Third-party booking suppliers (such as booking sites and experience providers) when you tap a booking link — your booking and payment are handled by that supplier under their own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and device storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your recent searches and favourites, and save your preferences. We do not use advertising trackers.
Storage, security and retention
Account data is stored with our cloud provider using industry-standard security. Some processing may occur overseas where our service providers operate. Trial and consent records administer access and document your agreement. An expiry date controls access or freshness; it does not necessarily delete a record.
Owner review needed: actual hosting and processing regions, account and consent retention periods, deletion arrangements and backup retention have not yet been verified. No fixed deletion period is promised in this draft.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and make privacy enquiries, by contacting us at the address above. We will respond within a reasonable time. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or Australian Consumer Law.
